The two founders of Waterford Homes, David Clough and Don Shanks, bring many years of home building experience to the company. David Clough, President, joined a large national homebuilder immediately upon graduation from Princeton University, and learned the business from the ground up. He rose to a management position with responsibility for hundreds of new homes each year. In 2010, Clough served as President of the Home Builders Association of Georgia, and was also named Atlanta’s Builder of the Year. Don Shanks, Vice-President of Construction, also began his homebuilding career with a national builder immediately after attending the University of Southern Mississippi. He has personally managed the construction of hundreds of homes since then. His thorough knowledge of the construction process and the team of professional trade contractors he has assembled enable Waterford Homes to assure each homeowner of high quality at affordable prices.
