David Clough
President

David Clough joined a large national homebuilder in Washington D.C. upon graduation from Princeton University in 1975.  He transferred to Atlanta in 1979 and rose up to a management position with responsibility for hundreds of new homes each year.  In 1991, he and Don Shanks founded Waterford Homes with the philosophy of a team approach.  David has won numerous awards such as the Lewis Cenker Award in 2014, the GAHBA's Most Prestigious Award, GAHBA Builder of the Year in 2012, HBAG Builder of the Year in 2010 and the GAHBA Presidential Award in 2005.


Don Shanks
Senior Vice President

Don Shanks, Senior Vice President of Construction, also began his homebuilding career with a national builder after attending the University of Southern Mississippi.  He has personally managed the construction of hundreds of homes in his 30+ years in the business.  His thorough knowledge of the construction process and the team of professional trade contractors he has assembled enable Waterford Homes to assure each homeowner of high quality at affordable prices.  Don brings incredible enthusiasm, energy, and a sense of humor to the job every day.  


John Molinari
Senior Vice President

John Molinari joined Waterford Homes in 1993 and has been one of the main contributors to the company's success.  John is responsible for Purchasing, Product Selection, and Pricing.  His ability to work with our construction team, suppliers, sales team and customers allows Waterford Homes to provide a quality product at an affordable price.  


Rich Wilmath
Builder

Rich Wilmath joined Waterford Homes in 2003 as an assistant builder. He has managed the construction of numerous homes in his 10+ years as a Builder. His hard work, attention to detail and easy-going personality trace back to his Mid-Western roots.  He is currently responsible for numerous custom homes in Brookhaven and Sandy Springs.   


Dave Groff
Builder

Dave Groff brings over 30 years of homebuilding experience to Waterford Homes.  Having worked for numerous regional homebuilding companies, Dave joined Waterford in 2004.  Born in Iowa, Dave brings a hard-working, customer-first attitude to the job.  His tremendous experience and positivity make him an invaluable asset to the Waterford team.  


Beverly Baker
Executive Assistant

Beverly Baker joined Waterford Homes in 1996.  She is responsible for scheduling, bill payments and processing, warranty and many other duties.  One of the main values that defines Waterford Homes is our commitment to pay our sub-contractors on time, a feat that would not be possible without the diligent work performed by Beverly.  She brings a smile to work every day and makes the company go.  


Drew Clough
Vice President

Drew Clough joined Waterford Homes in 2013 and is responsible for Land Acquisition and Development.  After graduating Vanderbilt University in 2005, Drew worked for UBS Investment Bank in New York, NY for 7 years.  Having spent numerous summer internships learning the construction process, he joined Waterford Homes with the intention of applying his knowledge of financial markets to the real estate business. Drew is a licensed Charterholder of the CFA Institute.  


Chris Samuda
Architect

Prior to joining Waterford Homes, Chris Samuda served as Director and Vice-President of Architecture at a Private Regional Homebuilder.  He joined Waterford Homes in 2006 with responsibility for all architectural functions within the business, including new product development, plan maintenance and value engineering.  Chris is now the Principal of CS Design Group, a national, full-service architectural design and project management company.
